Our work Just Carbon
JustCarbon is a blockchain-based carbon marketplace, where carbon emissions can be mitigated with the purchase of JustCarbon Removal tokens (JCR). One JCR token equates to exactly one tonne of carbon removed from the atmosphere, verified to the highest international standards.
Buyers, consumers or wholesalers can retire, sell or purchase more JCRs, and most importantly offset their historic or future carbon impact. The platform is administered by the JustCarbon DAO, which is operated and controlled by the JustCarbon Governance token (JCG) holders, tokens being distributed over a 10 year period primarily for participation and use of the system.
JustCarbon will also further support the development of the market by distributing its surplus funds into projects and activities that support carbon sequestration worldwide. Behind the platform is a team of collaborative co-founding industry and market experts from carbon markets, climate and impact finance, technology, and blockchain.
Ambition
Just Carbon aims to democratise carbon markets and establish a transparent and effective nature-based carbon sequestration marketplace, a vital requirement in addressing global temperature rises. Four Marketing Agency embarked on a campaign to launch the platform to the crypto community, but also to raise vital awareness and demystify the carbon market amongst the SME community and how businesses can now easily purchase carbon credits to offset their annual CO2 emissions.
Action
Four developed a multi-channel drip feed media campaign that highlights the collaborations that platform is embarking on whilst being front and centre of the ongoing debate on why the carbon credit market is part of the climate change solution.
Result
Launched in January 2022, Four Marketing Agency has secured global high profile media coverage for JustCarbon that includes Blockchain magazine, Binance, Coindesk, Yahoo Finance, Umi and The Armchair Trader. An exciting partnership with the Federation of Small Businesses is in the pipeline and recently TechRound announced JustCarbon as the No.2 Top 37 Crypto Startups 2022.
